Signing up to Lely Center in Longtown
Our last major highlight of 2010 was the official signing ceremony
of Lely Center in Longtown.
Tim Gibson Ltd have teamed up with mts, an established and reputable agricultural supplier run by Mick Kirk and his two business partners, Tim Summerfield and Mark Armstrong who set up mts at the end of 2004, between them they have over 40 years experience in this sector. mts installs milking parlours, dairy equipment, bulk milk tanks and slurry scrapers.
Together mts Gibson, have taken on the Lely franchise for North Cumbria and Southwest Scotland. This new enterprise will trade as ‘Lely Center, Longtown’, operating from premises adjacent to mts at Longtown offering the ‘A3 Next’ robot as well as the full range of labour saving Lely equipment, including the ‘Discovery’ robotic scraper and ‘Juno’ robotic feed pusher. The first robots were installed in November and are currently running very well with a lot of interest and visitors going to see them. The next installations are due to start in January and the order book is filling up fast for 2010 already!
